So a couple months ago on South of the North, I read about these new bindings Ride is coming out with for the 08/09 season and was a little skeptical about how they would handle on the snow and how they would hold up over a seasons worth of abuse. They eliminate the standard toe strap and opt for a flexible rubber like strap that creates a one piece, single rachet system binding. Well it seems they handle pretty well, how they hold up is yet to be determined. I found a pretty good review of the new bindings here.

Wow, everyone...way to comment on the original post...and way to draw a harsh opinion of the bindings just from looking at a picture. Ride makes good gear and I doubt they'd release a binding that totally sucks. I'm reserving my opinion for when I get a chance to demo them, but I'm looking forward to, at worst, a unique binding experience.

i agree with iamjester you guys must not know anything about snowboarding a/ i bet these bindings are sick they just might not have been around long enough to be perfected b/ flows are one of the best bindings out there they glue your feet to your board and give excelet park and pow performance and anyone who says they are not good bindings obviously has never ridden them
Yeah i would have to agree. Most of you guys dont know what you are talking about. Flows are so sick, their only downside is putting the binding on while you are sitting down. All i want to know is if these toe straps are going to feel secure enough?
yo i just bought them and rode them for the first time, they are sick. mad solid support, way better than the rome's i had. best bindings i have ever used. flows are alright imo, but these are great.
just bounght these contraband, and i got a fealin that gonna be one sick ride down the slope:P
